Corona Extra
Corona Beach

How do you bring this relaxing, anti-tech brand to the hyperactive World Wide Web? We started by 86-ing the traditional navigation and rigid structure of a typical site and allowed users to discover things on their own by exploring a virtual beach the way it should be explored—on their terms.

Navigation, done organically.

There are ways to navigate a site, and there are ways to stroll along one. We chose the latter—starting with an age gate that let you draw in the sand, to ignoring business emails and everything in between.

“Beautifully designed and surprisingly restrained for this type of piece. For those inclined, there's plenty to do, but it's just as satisfying to sit back and take it all in.”

— Ranee Chung, Communication Arts: Interactive Annual Juror
